welcome!
Gentlemen is officially closed.
It's been a great few months, and I appreciate all the support! ^_^
Everyone on staff has been awesome, and the members have been wonderful.
Thanks for being a part of this game, though it was short-lived.

After reading the comments on the long message I posted earlier, and after seeing Gina's explanation for closing Divinitas, I realized how stupid I've been. I've been painting myself as a committed, do-it-all, dependable person who could take on anything, when in reality I've been stubborn, proud, and stupid. FACT: I am out of the house from 6am to 6pm on weekdays. FACT: I need some downtime on the weekends. FACT: I only have time for ONE huge TCG, and Moonlight Legend is it. Like I said earlier, I love the concept of this TCG, but I don't love the reality of updating it when I'm already committed to ML and my other personal projects. And like Trading Academy, this game has expanded too quickly into series and characters I know nothing about, and updating games has become a struggle. So Gentlemen is officially closed. However, now that the weight of this game is off my shoulders, I am reopening my small, slow-paced, simple Castlevania TCG. I hope to see a few of you there. Loved by the Night Say that you were referred by "Gentlemen" and I'll send extra goodies. PS - Didn't ANYONE notice that the footer image of the layout is covered with text from the infamous "all your base" scene from the translation of Zero Wing? I'm surprised no one called me out on such blatant silliness! |

We're still on hiatus, so please take the freebies from the link above. At the moment, I'm not accepting any new members, simply because the future of the TCG is undecided. I was originally seeking a co-owner, but right now I'm not sure if the TCG will remain open or not, and I'd rather not ask someone for help then turn around and close the site. I love the concept of this TCG and the extra challenge of the fraternity system, but feel that I don't have the time to keep it up properly. I'm out of the house from 6am to 6pm every weekday, and I'm being promoted soon so I'll be even more involved with work. This is great for me, not so great for my TCGs. I AM able to update weekly and biweekly games on the weekends. I KNOW I have time for this. The two time problems I have with this TCG are managing image donations and (looking into the future) the fraternity system. The FS has barely started, but I know that making and updating party cards and keeping track of mastered sets is going to take a lot of time. One way to solve the "problem" with image donations is to replace the deck suggestion and donation requirements for the FS with something else. Then you guys wouldn't have to work so hard to think of new sets. I would LOVE to hear any suggestions, please! As for the list of mastered sets for party characters, I can ask Marfisa if she can make a database that can be updated via a web-based form. I'm not sure how possible this would be; she's the programmer, not me! And nothing can be done about the party cards, really. I'm keeping all the files for those with all the layers so changes can be made easily. All I can ask of the members is to keep track of their experience and mastered sets carefully so the FS runs smoothly. Another reason for my hesitation is that I'm semi-seriously considering reopening my Castlevania TCG. I've even gone so far as to remake all of the puzzle sets (about 75% of the cards) with a new template. It's a relatively basic TCG that never had a huge amount of members, and I miss the "small town" feeling of a tiny TCG. I mention it here because you're obviously all game fans, and if I did close Gentlemen, I hope I'd see a few of you again on the other game. I'm really torn. =/ I love this game and I LOVE game guys. I don't want to let it go after just a few months, but I don't want to kill myself either. HELP ME DECIDE! ;_; And now the important stuff you've been waiting for... I've released ALL 33 of the decks that have been completed! Please see the cards page and take 30 cards from decks marked NEW! No more than two from a single deck, please. You DO NOT need to comment with what you took, just to say that you DID get the cards. I will do a games update this weekend (or sooner, if time permits). CHEER ME ON! *fight!* |

Hello hello, I've updated all of the biweekly games EXCEPT the special puzzle (I don't have my images or card templates here with me). But the shops, card swap, and prize pick are ready for more action. I'll add to this later with more small updates. Still seeking co-owner(s)... co-owner info forum topic And YES, everyone should still take the staff pay once a week while the game is on hiatus. These are just small updates that I'm doing, and if you guys end up getting more cards than usual because of it, consider it thanks for sticking around! =p staff pay randomizer [edit] I've updated some of the weekly games too. Games that have not been updated are marked with a * and noted at the top of the section. I'll take care of these when I get home today. I'm feeling a bit more positive about everything this week so hopefully this hiatus won't last much longer. I definitely need help managing all the deck suggestions and donations (need to keep those running to help with recruiting!) so if anyone is interested, please comment either on the forum or here. Thanks. ^_^ [edit2] Posted referral rewards! Alchemy, Cerri, Jannet, and Misaki can pick up goodies HERE! (And remember, these count toward recruiting party members. ^_^) Speaking of party members, I'll make and post Sammie's and Misaki's new recruits tonight (and Sammie, your prejoin badge too). [edit3] Because two edits are not enough, I've finished updating the weekly and biweekly games. Monthly stuff will be handled later on in the week or on the weekend. Not dead yet! |

I've finally posted up information for potential co-owners. forum topic Feel free to post any questions or comments there. I'll be checking often over the weekend (and I'll be online to chat with anyone; see the forum for details of that). Even if you're a little hesitant about becoming co-owner, please take a look. I'm more than willing to provide as much help as is needed and I won't be abandoning the game, just stepping back to more of a support position. |

Sorry, I won't be updating today. I'm so frustrated with TCGs that I can't even spell right now. -_- I just spent over an hour working on donations, and that's even with four awesome helpers working on cards for me. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with the three games that I run, because I just don't have any time to work on my personal projects OR my business. For now, I'm skipping updates. I might have to close them all. *sigh* For the moment, take everything under "weekly staff pay" on the staff randomizer. No need to comment. staff pay randomizer Please note that the deck suggestion/donation forum has been locked; I can't handle any more of that until the backlog is cleared. [edit] I'm sorry, but this TCG is on hiatus until further notice. Please take the freebies mentioned above once per week. If anyone is interested in being co-owner of the TCG, or in simply adopting the entire thing as full owner, please contact me. |
